He is the author of Handel’s Messiah and His English Oratorios (Bloomsbury) and Melody’s Mostly Musical Day (Steinway & Sons). His arts reviews and features have been published in The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Newark Star-Ledger, Playbill, The New Criterion, and elsewhere.
